Unlock Your Mind

Act now, open up to our Psychiatrist

A clinical review published by MIOT, in the renowned medical journal of Clinical Epidemiology and Global Health (based on the learnings from studying over 3300 COVID-positive patients), shows how COVID-19 impacted their mental wellbeing. Also, losing dear ones to COVID-19 can trigger emotional responses like fear, anxiety, anger, sleep disorder, restlessness and depression, leading to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. This can take a serious toll on the overall health and mental well-being and in some cases, it may even lead to self-harm.

Since the start of the pandemic, MIOT specialists have not only treated over 9500 COVID-positive patients, but even provided emotional support to them and their attendants.

Having understood this importance, Dr. Prithvi Mohandas, Managing Director, MIOT Hospitals launches an unique initiative “UNLOCK YOUR MIND”, a COVID-specific emotional support programme to get patients and attendants back on track from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder caused by COVID-19
