Patient Testimonials
Prof.P. Seshadri
Dear Mrs. Mallika Mohandas,
Let me admit that I was happy to have met you (despite the pressure on your time) on the 4th evening after my wife was discharged. Not many must have had the privilege of such a meaningful interaction.
I landed at Chennai on 22nd October and came directly to meet the doctor around noon. My first impression was here is a doctor who wanted to hide nothing nor give great hopes. He was absolutely factual, professionally understanding and competent, and let me know the pros and cons of my wife’s illness and the medical interventions and therapy that may be necessary, and the probable consequences. He let me meet my wife in the CICU for a short while and I could tell her that she was under the most competent hands and she just has to go by what the medical team advised. She too felt the same and said she will respond positively and with confidence.
The two-week stay in MICU/CICU/Ward was worth it for the simple reason that the critical care doctors’ team and the nursing team at all levels went about their job with professional maturity, integrity, expertise and hope. And they did not at any time give the impression that they were engaged in a losing battle. And the way they explained the reports and communicated gave us a sense of comfort and hope.
My entire family bows its head in acknowledging the contribution of your medical and nursing teams in putting my wife back to her feet in good health – she was wheeled in on a stretcher and she could walk out of the hospital in good health. Our humble salute to doctors of Critical Care and the nursing sisters (the ‘foot-soldiers’ of the hospital). Your PRO team with whom we dealt were very courteous, warm, polite and helpful.
We are grateful to all for their sense of duty with care.
Warm regards and best wishes to all of you,
Prof.P. Seshadri
