MAIDEN LIVER TRANSPLANT – A MIOT SUCCESS STORY

MIOT’s maiden liver transplant gives 38-year old patient a new shot at life and a new resolve.

MIOT International successfully completed its first liver transplant on January 2013. For the 38-year recipient of the new liver, it is a fresh start; for his family, a reason to celebrate. For the multidisciplinary team of experts led by Dr. George Chandy, it is a reaffirmation of their skills, dedication and most importantly the ability to work as a well knit team .The Team comprised of 20 specialists from over ten departments, supported by competent nurses, technicians, counsellors and nutritionists.
