Past events at MIOT

Emphasising the importance of specialised training in post-cardiac surgical emergencies . MIOT International hosted the Cardiac Surgical Unit – Advanced Life Support (CSU-ALS) workshop on February 17^th, 2025. The event aimed to provide healthcare professionals with the skills necessary to manage cardiac arrest in post-cardiac surgical patients, an area requiring protocols different from standard Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Certified trainers led the workshop, using advanced mannequins from the USA to provide evidence-based, high-quality simulation training. Healthcare professionals, including cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists, perfusionists, and cardiothoracic nurses, participated in hands-on and interactive sessions.

The workshop’s success reflects MIOT International’s ongoing efforts to enhance specialised cardiac care and contribute to better standards in post-cardiac surgical emergency management.
